Visiting scientists

Each year, numerous scientists and graduate students from around the world visit the Marine Lab to lecture or to engage in research on Guam's coral reefs. We also receive visits from U.S. and foreign governmental officials concerned with marine resource policy issues. Since 2004, the Marine Lab has hosted visitors from Australia, Canada, Fiji, Germany, Hawaii, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Palau, Philippines, Samoa, Spain, United Kingdom, the continental U.S., and Taiwan. Many of these guests also give lectures as part of the Marine Lab seminer series POETS Club.
